The volatility would be in the stock market began a week ago Friday and we're learning now that much of that volatility. May be due to the bond market rent a conversation about the bond market and how it's influencing the price of stocks. We're also going to talk about whether the stock market correction is over. Down about nine point 9% isn't over markets are up today that would be an indication that might be. And then finally third major story we're covering news. Why is life expectancy. In the southern part of the country so much shorter. Then it is in the northern part of our country hi everybody is very chart with you here. All on a Monday in. Lynn as the dust settled on Friday night make a lot of people are pointing towards the bond market as to why stocks sold off and had so much volatility in that one week. Third time they are there that the big concern that you have at this point is that it's. There is going to be more inflation than anticipated. And that the Fed is going to have to raise rates more rapidly keep them higher. For a longer period of time in order to new data inflation. So that the concern is that the Fed is going to instead of having three hikes like we all thought at the beginning of this year. Hey they might have to go to 45. And they might have to continue that pace next year. And soon the fear is that these rising rates without will end up doing is all of the money that's flowing in to. The economy right now and make it more expensive to Barroso if you are an individual pay home prices are going to be. You know little depressed from where they could have been if you are a business going on borrowing. Since being able to borrow at 6% you're gonna have to borrow seven and that might cause you to put off project cost of money. That's really the big concern that investors have is that they would what does this do on that front and also. OK so if it's going to cost me more to borrow and more than I need to demand more return on stocks because all of a sudden if on the bond investor knocking at 3% stated two and a half hey I don't wanna hold a stock that might get me. You know two and a half percent yield there's no point that I can get 3% in any risk free return. Who would that you feared that heard the term bond vigilant to back in the eighties that was a big two yes. What does that mean and why bond binge vigilant these dreamers. Couple different term that is an Israeli couple different people that refers to the first. Is a group who wants the government to exercise more fiscal responsibility. And so the way it works the bond market is what's at your holder of US treasuries. And you say OK so I'm getting paid. Two and a half percent on my ten year treasury did tell me you're going to be borrowing all this money increasing the supply of treasuries that are out there look. It's it's it's not enough for me to simply get two and a half percent is I'm worried about a few Bora too much you're overall stability can be compromised maybe I don't get paid back in full and we are running massive deficits degree we're gonna be a trillion dollars next year now knew we could be true you'd be issuing this year too I mean it's an and that doesn't include the interest that we're just talking about the annual deficit in and to be fair this was something that you called when president trump was elected he said look he is not going to be someone who was cutting deficits by any means and sure enough we have a this I would point out even at this trillion dollar deficit. And we don't have the infrastructure playing. What what concerns I think some of these bond bond vigilantes about this deficit. If you're running a trillion dollar deficit when everything's good home and along what are you gonna have to do in terms of fiscal policy. When he hits the fan to three years now because it sure enough business cycles they always you know they they come and go. And so if you're running a trillion dollar deficit now what are you gonna have to pour into the economy to stabilize it. You know what what happens when all of a sudden. Note to three years down the road unemployment back to 7% and all of a sudden your pain all these unemployment claims again what happens at that point. And that's something that makes people nervous the third group I think that's concerned. Our international steps up and so let's say that you're someone in Europe. Who says gee I've got a you know business over in the US I'm gonna park my money in treasuries in order to at least earn some returning not to sitting cash. Well if all of a sudden you're getting 3% on your treasuries but you're losing 10% a year Ian currency devaluation. You're sitting there saying. USC you gotta you gotta pay up a little bit more for me to keep my holding here so Europe what you're suggesting is that. The bond market is gonna have fair amount of influence or policy. Potentially that the caveat here in in this is something you always have to remember when it comes to the bond market in you can't fight the fat. We've we've heard for the last eight years the Fed has two options and it's they can hike rates which potentially slows. Domestic world. Or they say look we need to maintain domestic growth for a number of different reasons and they say. We're not raising rates what happens then is the US dollar slides down continued to slide further we've we've seen a slide about 15% in the last year. And what you see is a gradual devaluation. Of the US dollar which will make the US more competitive. But you have for manufacturing firm for manufacturing but you have to manage you can't just simply gonna go all Willy Nilly so. It's in that situation if if the Fed comes out and says hey the domestic economies more important than anything else. Your your buying equities in that situation if they say defending the dollars more important. Did your you know top line so it's so much is dependent on what the Fed does there. Many of you are asking the question is the market correction over. And I got that question a lot over the weekend I was at a wedding in Vermont inane question came up you know what's gonna happen with the market there anybody talked to anyone and no because they saw. Gee this tremendous correction in the volatility. Was pretty severe. Well history suggests that the stock market correction in fact chuck is not overs about a fact it looks like it has quite a ways to go if we. Return to historical norms. Yet the that the median decline in the S&P and this is from a company called bespoke investment group the median decline in the S&P 500 during a correction. Is sixteen point 4% so media and again it's not the average. It's saying hey that the middle number when you when you take hurling a better number to use it as an an average it is so that the middle number there. Is sixteen point 4% in typically a pullback lasts about 64 days and we're seven days and right now so. You know buckle up this is something and in this what we've been saying this is not something that's resolved overnight and the thing to remembers volatility doesn't just mean movement in one direction and it can be. In both directions when you're seeing 300 point positive opens it's a sign that the market doesn't know where it wants to value its. But market sentiment is very positive right now Tucker we had a poll last week where we were measuring market sentiment and people bought that that day the market would be up and it just be the the the we haven't had that. Moment of capitulation. Where people just throw the baby out with the bath water they'll be the I think sentiment is still very high. That's part of what leads me to believe. That we still have a ways to go here in terms of market correction but we do the poll question again today Tucker what is it gets thrown out there ball question today is do you think the market correction is over yes or no and you can cast your vote right now at financial change show doc on still too early to really give you any results thus far but we'll keep an eye on it but just remember the median decline for an S&P correction. His sixteen point 4%. Like the pullback is 64 days. And so forward down about nine point 9% so we're a long ways away from being down yes sixteen point 0%. Five Chile charts. Show why Americans in the south. Live shorter lives now. I actually was surprised by this because I thought southern living would be. More healthy simply because there are able to be outside a greater part of the year. Southern living it may sound like it's more healthy but the that the problem. That they're too big problems that the two biggest ones when you look at this. Number one obesity and number two smoking. Now they've got higher rates of both of those in the south and in particular obese to you you look at obesity rates in the south so he said smoking. Obesity would you gotta be diet drink yet that those are the two biggest ones. Education is somewhat of a proxy for both of those were about availability healthcare. Again you act I kind of tie that in with education I guess him what did to me. Look if if you live a healthier life. You don't need as much care anyway so you know availability health care yeah that's important but. I look at just the debase things and if you talk to any doctor the two things that they say are most important. Stay active now don't smoke. I was surprised for New England states are among the healthiest in the country we four. Is 06 it's a foreign of this of the top ten healthy states are located in knowing that I give to the bottom ten. Number 41 on the list is Georgia. Number 42 is Kentucky. Oklahoma. South Carolina's 44 Tennessee is 4546. Is West Virginia Alabama's 47. Arkansas is 48. Louisiana. He's 49 and Mississippi. Is fifty and so those are the least healthy states in the country what are the contributing factors. High propensity of smoking cigarettes. Obesity and diet. Education those are all states all ten of those states. Are pretty poor in terms of their public education system and look at the percentage of populations that are college graduate very poor in those ten states. And then availability of health care how readily available is it for you to go get your rain check. And those those are the force contributing factors towards the bottom ten elevate. Give you the good numbers on the top ten. Our little bit surprising New York State is number ten on the list in terms of being healthy state at Washington State. Is number nine on that list and then son of a gun at New Hampshire and number eight. Yeah I mean New Hampshire it makes sense he got a lot of people who tend to like to be outside either hikers skiers most of more of their on the seacoast their big voters bumps they tend to be outside a good amount. You got you know very good health care either in state where you look at something like Dartmouth Hitchcock wrapped up in you know and in Hanover now you know or being down to Massachusetts if you need to Colorado on the let's not surprising very active community tend to eat pretty well out there candidates has been legal there for awhile. Maybe they don't need as well anymore Minnesota Minnesota's number six on the list Connecticut. Number five health care great editor who am I at a at imaginable Yale New Haven aerial freight rate. Utah number four on the list mormons tend to live healthy or death if you don't drink. It you know like you look at their lifestyle it mormons tend to live healthier lifestyles if you've ever been to Salt Lake City. It's the cleanest nicest thing you've ever been in because again mormons they they they don't drink they don't smoke that are healthy. Vermont number three on the list in terms of healthy states followed by Hawaii and number one on the list this surprised me. Massachusetts. Number healthiest state in the country I think a you have an active population NBA think you can make an argument we have the best healthcare in the country in masters it's cold up here it's hard to get outside through four months of the year you know it's just. It's I was I was surprised I I thought they I thought it would be hired in DC a lot of obese people and in master is amazing it's like you go down south. But from all game if different ball game it is a whole different level large. Coming back there when we come back will be joined by. Henry Kerr from the economist talking about stock market volatility why isn't so volatile while you're about to learn that's next on the financial exchange. Motivation to create in a state plan here's one. How Todd can somebody. Insure. That an ex daughter in law or an ex son in law is not going to take. Half of my child's inheritance when I die in the event that they got a divorce you know I don't think I sit down at a client meeting. And this doesn't come. Rate beauty do you bring it up Purdue the client. I think it's a combination of balls but but once you mention if they don't match because I always think about after death I know and when you mention it. They jump on. One might spell out here that lower divorce is so prevalent I guess that's the pro and here's the worry right. You guys you both you leave each of your children half a million dollars right. And then three years after you're gone they get a divorce. You're gonna lose half a 500000 dollars on a good. And so what we try to do is inside the trust again another family reason to do is they play a non tax reason to do an estate plan. And and we inside the trust we create its shares for the children in we have independent trust me if you will making one decision only. And that is in their sole discretion to make distribution to the child. Or to the grinch. And that sole discretion provides all the creditor protection that they need from the divorce in the future. I don't mean to lecture but it's a good idea it created state plan keep your assets in the blood line. Joining us now on the line is Henrik her from the economist here to talk. But the volatility that we've seen in the market in what is going on in terms of fiscal policy Henry thank you for joining us. And let's talk a little bit about that the changes that we've seen in the last three months from a fiscal policy perspective. How much additional deficit to re taking on over the next couple years compared to where things looked like they were heading. Just a few months ago. The important thing is. How can we already know right. America's Beijing I mean is spending more on Social Security more met attack I'm definitely it. Oh when we're not coming down. But since then we added tax cut of about one point 5% of GDP. Quite yet to 2009. To go yeah. And now we had a budget Taylor at the end of all week we took what was ruled a pretty entity identity. Adding about point 7% of GDP for the deficit that we're looking like to point 2009 pretty. American going to be running. Pedaled it what about point. And if GDP in Portugal which is very unusual that at this point in the economic cycles when unemployment pretty. Well let's talk about that what typically happens when you throw a huge bunch of money at a problem that doesn't really exist. Well. Can you be worried about typically. That would stimulate an economy whack when unemployment is Larry is that that the militants. I bet that result in more fuel more people and want more GDP instead that it would make price is right Boston economy were kind of very happy with. And when that with a strong wait number a couple of we it's not that at all these received financial markets. As accurate is not a wondering I don't in the technical and ordered late in the fiscal expansion. Act in Mac and apple that over the that hike up interest rate on an advocate for the bulk rate perfectly that there is that. You would expect to fight but no one actually quite angle whether it be limited that the benefit down a bit of an experiment to see how far the economy and. You mentioned that the typical federal response would be to hike rates because that's what they do in order to try to. Keep inflation under control. I look at the situation in the US and I see you know obviously a significant division in terms of wealth which turns into a significant division in terms tax receipts. A lot of tax receipts are based on neo rich people selling stocks I also look at state pension funds and see that they need to have certain returns in order to meet their bogeys. It isn't there a huge disincentive for the Fed to raise rates though. Well. Recent at one wanna raise rates that this is at play the economy that if if you go to fiscal stimulus coming and on the other all right then you know about what end. Certainly as you like out there all people like pension bonds or who would benefit. Acquire right. He would not heed that you are bringing an end of the year that interest rates by relying on fiscal policy mold that. But like com on marital rape and monetary policy period not think about ticket thing that hard to strike. I about a of people who want statement apple I would Richey what will you attention on on pension scheme. And I won't but the traditional view would be well you want interest rates. Are responsible to keep it up typical capped by a baby out try to then investing brought that government. Running out stepped it gonna take couple Le. So devastating in the nick in the economy about that but that's about the trade off quite a debt that it will economic. People view her tightening that attack. And spending package being held weak economy supplement that with bank activity of an economy ticket do with more stimulus Baylor interest rates do come with the bat by the fact. And and I that there is there is a document that are interest rates Arctic it bank battle that means that when the next and don't come along the federal open up more recently talked in response. Very good Henry thank you very much for the time we appreciated today. The ten recur from the economist talking about interest rates in in light of the recent market volatility. It's kind of funny to hear you know. Economists from the left and right talk about deficit cereal in federal eight years that. Barack Obama. Was in office Republicans railed against the increasing deficit you know they've all news just terribly ski selling the country down the road to the deficit I think during of the Obama administration went from an assay. Nine trillion to eighteen trillion. Yeah I've been in that neighborhood that the big thing that you seem to see was deficits is they tend to go go up most slowly when you have divided government and yet the thing about the times where you've seen deficits go up the most. This year him. You've got an all Republican administration. First year of the Obama administration all Democrat ever think about it's it's the times where you have divided government where they go up most slowly but they my point is that. You know. The people are afraid of these deficits in one of the things you might want to do to try to understand with the trump administration is doing. Read up and learn and educate yourself. As a relates to modern monetary theory M&T. His M&T has been a proponent of deficit spending for twenty years saying that you know your growth is based on the government spending. The other the one thing that I've kind of come around to that you see is that wall a government with access to the printing press and won't default nominally. They can still default in actuality when you say okay if we have to take it twenty or 30% hit our purchasing power you can still get hit by that even if you still have. You know the currency still in effect. When we come back we'll talk about how Amazon is ignoring a huge chunk of the population and they multimillion. Dollar opportunity with the new birth restore operation. Like this on FaceBook and follow us on Twitter. Time now for the street watch a look at the market's performance so far today victim Marian jog right here on the financial exchange radio network. Michael Armstrong joins us now from Wall Street watching Mike couple companies. Movement now significantly they let's start first with a company called CS RA. What are they in what they're wired they movement. Yes there and information technology solutions company if they're based at Virginia. Bad. Big news that being acquired by general dynamics after a pretty significant premium to forty dollar 75 cents per share. It valued the deal at about nine point six billion dollars that's nearly ten dollar pre that's where they're trading on Friday as stocks up. About 31% on the news. Talk about trip advisor this is a company based right here in New England right in the Needham Massachusetts. They're down 5% today and about 70% over the last couple years now what's the latest on news that sparking a decline. Yes I mean the decline in the last couple years is had been chasing just increased competition a lot of different sites. But really today the big news that Expedia one of their main competitors in terms of booking hotels and played and by bad reported a pretty abysmal quarter on Friday. There's doppler down pretty significantly trip advisor seems to be down alongside it just it concerns that they're reporting on Wednesday things could be ugly in there a proper ports as well. Good thank you Mike that is Michael Armstrong with Wall Street watched. Tucker did you know that there are 42 million people across the country on food stamps I did yeah. And you know that being fresh. 340 to 42 million people receive what are now called snap that that's that's that's. And it's meant for people who were indigent and you know pork Amazon. Not accepting the states. No there will that there are new while grocery store they're trying to roll out what they call their grocery stores the of the future which doesn't have cashiers or check outlines. They have said. That in this model with their call Amazon and go on they do not accept these EDT cards I think they want to but the government won't allow the president is Eleanor it's. That they're not allowed to take them it's it's because of how the stores qualified and so because it doesn't necessarily meet certain standards. It's that they're not allowed in there are knee you'd make you ask yourself. What's the difference between. An Amazon grocery store and a wegmans. You know I think the big thing is just how Amazon's classified as a business overall I just don't know if they have done the right work. To kinda get themselves setup for this right now. Mike don't organize my guess at some point they will all they're working unit as you can buy there's some Amazon product she can buy. Using your food stamps. Through Amazon.com that right now if you wanna use Amazon fracture Amazon. Prime or treat can't use your foods yen in part of the problem also was that I believe EBT cards require you to input a a pain in order to complete a purchase this Amazon go modeled doesn't have space for input pin is well. Well they'll get there and he two sets of segment of the market that they're not gonna want to miss out on. And we're talking today about an experimental drug that promises to kill the flu virus in a day latte and those of you who have suffered through the flu this year. Every family members had the flu Tucker I have not likely play it's nasty it's mean. This year they've said it's the worst since the 2009 Swine Flu which I had and let me tell you. That thing again I was you know young guy a guy in my early twenties. And I lost fifteen pounds and couldn't do anything for week rated worse of kid in Connecticut. Yeah it's it is a ten it's not good. Well anyway this Japanese company. Says they developed a pill that can kill the viruses within a day. Believe once it. Aria a couple of right now what he duty at the flea take Tamiflu for five days and you feel. I probably taken a trip to a hospital so I haven't had the flu and again close to ten years now but it's it does not what you can do in the Tamiflu stuff doesn't dual whole while and use something you know they say it makes a little bit better but it may steal BO loopy you start seeing things and stuff like that. A native of you I. I thought that heavy you've got to have the flu like I went to a this person it's like you're required I think it was pretty mellow like really makes you think you go crazy and stuff like that is not not like a secretary on the show tomorrow as soon had asked what Rocco with a different day. Yeah actually the oh so we have sound effects going off everywhere. The stock market opened an hour and eight minutes ago and it was up as one point who's a 300 points now it's up 224. Points. We've poll question today which is do you would love would with a poll question apple question today is do you think the market correction is over them and 56% of our listeners say no. They don't think it's over 5656. Saying no that's my camp by somebody asked is not normal for. Over and over it's not over it you know loser. Soledad in the questions at the thought well we'll say L time will tell merely did this thing I would add this big debate last night. With a friend and retired about whether this market correction is over and ultimately what he said Liz. Ten years from now it's irrelevant and so let's say you bought stocks on January 26 at a very high price right. Whether it's IBM or Raytheon don't matter. Did ten years from now you know I can remember where the paid 22 dollars a share that stalker twenty dollars this year because things can be traded for sixty it won't matter. What what I've come around to is the most important person in the room the next near decade for stocks it's it's Jerome Powell. You know if if if if the Fed continues. To put the the overall stability of the American economy ahead of the security of the dollar and stocks are going to be just fine then if they go if if he turns out to be Paul Volcker 2.0 and says look I need to defend the dollar at all cost. Then stocks could potentially go through a ten year period where hey things don't look so rosy. But he won't want the vigilantes have more say about it then. Jerome Powell know he's always making the decisions at the end of the day I mean that bigger decisions but his decisions are largely corrupted by the vigilantes riding the vigilante say. Hey you can. Issue all the treasures you want we're not buying them to 85. So all that happens then is you just see a sell off but it does it doesn't mean that the Fed won't buy those same treacherous OK so what what I look at is if the Fed says look. We have a national security issue here and and frankly you you kinda do so let's look at it from this perspective let's say that you're the state of Connecticut. And you boy funded your pension 44%. And if you're the state of Connecticut you're sitting there saying we need. Taken to see this continue otherwise we're gonna have to default and and you level whole bunch of other states and municipalities that are in the same boat and so. The Fed at a certain level sits there and says look if we don't get this to where it needs to be meaning this beating the market and all of a sudden we get a whole bunch of people market their money. And that's that's not good from a national security perspective well the I think it's safe to assume. You're gonna have some volatility here for quite awhile and last November if you recall truck we did that events updated. Cameras Burlington where it was and in that restaurant we knew we could be a burden grow Bertans grow very addressed. And we did a a whole afternoon we talked about the market being policed for stock for correction. And you know I wrote that article and was published in and we pushed that out while take away. Eight I we got it right I think we're just a couple months early. Radio is always there to be early evenly right and we said to be a market correction in November in the market correction and start until January early February sir couple months early bet. My point is that the market volatilities going to be here for awhile. Many of you have investment portfolios and ZEU. May be asking yourself gee in my position to properly for when this volatility. So this article about Kentucky and the business leaders in state cannot Kentucky. Are telling lawmakers to dump. Teachers defined benefit pension plans I've been saying this for those who you know me I've been on this soapbox for ten years getting rid of defined benefit pension plans for all public sector workers. Now it's very unpopular. Among do it when I make that statement anybody who's a 55 year old cop looks at me and says yeah you're nuts we're not getting rid of it. But out tea the he'd be that defined benefit pension plans are bad for you as a taxpayer. But are also bad for use a worker and we'll talk about in Kentucky. Sounds like their there's thinking about actually listening the governor is is now talking about getting rid of defined benefit pension. Yet it there there's some chatter that this doc could be coming sooner rather than later were replaced instead. By defined contribution plan effectively a 403 B. And a nice match and and the big thing that I think that you have to look at with these defined contribution plans these pension plans or defined benefit plans and so art. That the pension plans if you actually. Raped the pension plans based on what their returns have been in the market rather than what they project to do which. Yes of these pension plans are still projecting like 8% annual returns and they just don't get anywhere near them. The for the plan's first more than the numbers looked terrible on a lot of the but beyond that you know you sit there any say as you mentioned. If you can't pay those pension benefits out. You're either raising taxes or you cut that benefit anyway so you're not doing yourself any favors by just kind of saying hey we're not we're not gonna make any changes. Failing to adapt it still making a choice. Your this is something that your generation truck is gonna have to deal thought my generation is elected to. Kick the can down the road your generation's going to be faced with that you for you that's a worker you know if your thirty year old copper you're forty year old teacher. Let me tell you why these defined benefit pension plans are bad for you as the employee. First of all ya gonna get what you were promised if you're thirty years old and you're working as a schoolteacher. There they're spending your money your your money's going down basically there are rattles. If you the other issue associated. With being on a defined benefit pension plan. I have a niece who taught in Belmont Massachusetts for ten years she's not a defined benefit pension plan. She gets married her husband is it works for hedge fund in New York so they move from Massachusetts to Connecticut. She lost all ten years or service on you when she did that and if you only put ten years in on a defined benefit pension plan under fifteen or even twenty years. You get a very poor return on the money that's coming out your paycheck every week. The only way these defined benefit pension plans work well. Now is if you do thirty to 35 years of those plants in their. Otherwise the they're not a very good investment and how many people wanna stay in the same job for 3035 years I don't think resentment. I'd be curious to see Kentucky is the early leader in you know getting away from DB plans to report that I think it was maybe. And a rep for Christmas isn't Dallas getting rid of these days that you you've got a few city you know. Where the year your generation is saying. Hey you know this. You're gonna look for saying quit coach and off plus the property tax settler kills. Gary as you go to town meeting in knee and all the sudden they say it will generate property taxes by 4% Y. While because we have all these pension obligations for the 400 retirees in our town watch. In that death that conversation is coming up among young people across the country in news it would be old homes and they're saying hold on timeout. If if if if it's 4% this year how much is going to be natural next year's going to be 6% what. Like it's just not what we're paid in property and. And I think the big thing is you still have to give a robust match on these cities say OK look we are going to pay you know fifteen or 20% of salary into these programs. But they're going to be on you to manage and they're right there are going to be on us and on the taxpayer to say hey here's we've promised you it's they. This gonna be what you choose to make of and I think if you if you do that if you have again the numbers that I generally see between a fifteen to 20% employer contribution going in. If you do that yep go right ahead. Let's say your cop your your cop in Boston. And you're and you wanna take a police officers positioned in Manchester, New Hampshire. You can do with it right right it gives you portability your firefighter in Framingham Massachusetts your wife wants to move to New Haven, Connecticut. You can do as you're not locked in so many of these workers these public sector workers are locked in to those jobs they're teachers firefighters are cops are locked in. Because of those pension plans to coming up will be joined by Jonathan Wallace from Morningstar talking about a mutual fund grab your pencil paper. Mutual fund talk is next on the financial exchange. What high net worth individuals one of the biggest things that changes are some of the rules about gifting as well as higher rate it 41 K contributions how much do people put into a 41 K plan. Yes so back in 2017 that limit was 181000 dollars per individual that number is going up slightly this year for 2018 is to be 181500. And don't forget if you're over the age of fifty you have an additional 6000 you could put in there. Totaling 24500. However on the higher race side nothing's changing you can still put in 5500. And that hire an adamant did not go up so it's really about the employer sponsored plans. For this one out on the gift tax side of things for 2017 you can give away 141000. Dollars per individual without filing any sort of gift tax return in 2018 that number is also going up to 151000 dollars so you know as we've seen the bigger changes are definitely on the corporate side but there are some small changes around the edges on the individual side that take advantage of can be significant. They say video adds ten pounds. But don't tell Berrian Jardine the financial exchanges alive every day on FaceBook and YouTube this is the financial exchange radio network. Every Monday we have mutual fund money here to lie helpless out with that very causes Jonathan Wallace from Morningstar. Jonathan thanks for joining us. Johnson that it looks like we're talking about the fidelity four in one index is that right. That's correct what exactly is the foreign one index. Well. The fourth when index is essentially a fund that combined death or indexed funds into wind. Allocation fund they can really help investors. Who are interested in a more aggressive allocation. 85% equity. They can really help them to haven't all of what type type of. So what indices does it pull into this one product here. Okay so the first index that he uses the S&P 500 which is well. The second one is the Dow Jones US completion total stock market index what that does is it's designed to Guam. Include. A lot of the finds a lot of the investments that are not included in the US and 502 that's the second one. The third one that it includes is the NS TI EC index. And that that gives investors and despite exposure to I entered the international. International markets international equity markets. And then the final wanted to Bloomberg Barclays US intermediate aggregate indexes to that gives six investors exposure to US sponsor when you combine it altogether. It creates a well rounded portfolio that targets 85% equity. So it seems like this is built for someone who doesn't want to be involved in the day to day management of their portfolio but more just say let me dollar cost average in. And use this fund to kind of make up all my portfolio was that an accurate statement. Yet that is accurate. A lot of investors may find that this this all the one approach can really help because it does it does provide diversification. Get as investors using this is the only investment of their portfolio. It would be targeted more for somebody who is up more aggressive perhaps a younger investor with a longer. Our growth water typewriter and a and a long term growth objectives. In terms of expenses. Are zipped kind of fit with the rest of the funds in its category. Is actually the least expensive in its category. It charges the weapon basis points. And so on in our allocation seventy to 85% equity debt is beyond least expensive offerings in that category. Good Jonathan thank you for the time we appreciate it. Much as Jonathan Wallace for Morningstar the fund that he was talking about is the fidelity four in one fund and in the ticker on it if you wanna look up on your own is FF. And oh tax incentives 85% stocks that 85% stocks about 60% in the US 25% outside and then about 15% in bonds so. You know it makes it to make it right someone who again wants to be fairly aggressive with things potentially you know maybe in their thirties or forties who says Hamm disconnect here throw a hundred bucks a month into this something like that. And it's kind of wanted to set it and forget it funds it's not gonna do anything crazy advise against four different indices so it's not you know picking stocks it's pretty much buying the entire market. And it's it's the kind of fun that again has no low expense ratio is pretty simple front the a lot of people understand. Stock market's been open for almost an hour and a half and right now the Dow's up about 200 point our poll question today. Guide how tax reform. Affects high net worth investors and Mike one of the biggest changes that we see is in the federal estate tax on the what happened to this number as a result of tax reform. Sure certain 2017. You can give to five point. Instead of five point five million you're now looking at eleven million for an individual and 2.2 million for married couples so this is really impacting very few individuals. I mean in the aggregate were. Americans these days and remember that's a pretty hefty tax rate if you get hit with the estate tax you're talking upwards of 40% of that value that your trying to pass on. So the federal limit is doubling the five of the six New England states have state estate taxes as well the most restrictive one Massachusetts that number starts the million dollars it's got us and guy you know it's not just the amount over a million dollars if you go over a million dollars in Massachusetts you paid state tax on everything you have but you know going through the less Connecticut as an estate tax at two point six million Maine eleven point two million like you said Massachusetts one million Rhode Island is about one point five in Vermont's about two and three quarters the only state knowing the without one is New Hampshire folks. About an economic and market trends plus get breaking business news every day. And now the financial exchange with Barry Armstrong and sharks done us. We open up the show where at this hour of the program with. Some rumours. But some facts fact of the matter is the mass mutual is closing there and field Connecticut office. And they are sending. Well the sending of it looks to me that they're sending 15100 jobs to Springfield. And they're sending another 500 jobs to Boston. Yeah which is good news obviously for Massachusetts in particular Springfield which he shot in the arm but between that and and you've got the MGM opening up in a little bit you sit there and you say. They spring fields finally got you know a couple things potentially you. Coming in that maybe could generates an activity over and ask and transform that city UE oh yeah during the spurt between these casino. It's already transformed city I mean you look at the number of people working at the casino. Right now the construction jobs that are going on now that's having a major effect on western Massachusetts. And then you look you layering in the fact that these jobs are gonna move from infield now or infield I mean there. They're stuck I think they're losing about fifty million dollars a year tax or property tax eve it's a whole bunch of tax revenue and obviously the state to Connecticut loses. You know a big chunk of revenue from an income tax perspective as well. And so we eat continues justice news this run of rough news for Connecticut and Connecticut seems just wanna keep saying a cable figure out ways to raise taxes and has the chance last week to repeal some tax is needed and it in the punted on instant though keep these in place cup warriors and that's that's the FAA at some point they'll reach a breaking point where they'll realize. That they've got to go through they've got to. Completely redo their their public sector. And do things to make them more competitive the other thing that's happening connect those. Real estate values are much less than they are and most of masters here you look at it the ball you get outside a Fairfield County. Connecticut real estate prices are gonna be dropping especially now thing about the infield market. If people are gonna say. People from infield can drive Springfield they can do that commute but a lot organ choose not to news sent a sell my house and infielder in that area. And it looks for what it in Connecticut's big problem continues to be just that so much of their income tax revenue was concentrated Ian the top 1% of taxpayers that if you get just you know couple hundred people weaving in the wrong couple hundred people. I'd better hope Bridgewater and a yeah that's like for every dollar whoever says tale I'm picking up and moving. That's a problem and I like it's it's it's it's pretty close over them so that's the factual aspect of our open. The rumored aspect of our open is Amazon now. If it's unusual truck and I came in this morning and I said chuck I've got news I've got a really good source telling me. That Amazon is coming to Boston tea at two reasons my source said they were coming to Boston. One it's a shovel ready location Suffolk downs location that is shovel ready. And to beat the other reason that they thought they would come to Boston lose the level of education be they thought they did they thought in Amazon and apparently has the opinion. That Boston is the most educated city of the cities that are being considered as candidates for this effort seconds. And yet in I'd talk to someone late last week as well who pretty much confirm the same thing to me so it sounds like they are. Getting close if if it again to these things there's always a lot they can go wrong is you kind of get towards the finish line what is the other cities that we we determined that the EU I think you were there are of the opinion that Atlanta was a very select his DD season and important one OK obviously Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post and is on his huge facilities in Northern Virginia. Yes and that was another one the one of the effort bandied about as a bit of a dark horses Toronto. Just the government international perspective. The quality of international talent that you get coming into Toronto is as good if not better than any of the other cities on the list. Will that Tron would have would be. Physical location put it in the city is it I don't know much about the overall to rock laid out built out of its adult you know space. The gators nothing he CP this topic down to location many of you might look at that say what's really in the city. Well not yet but it will be ones Amazon build something there. It becomes us it right and and inch Ronald these don't just don't have that kind of acreage and build a Atlanta has an issue. In terms of trying to determine the urgent and he talked about you think our congestion problems. And our traffic problems or Atlanta has no mass transit. Is all wrote need you take a look at like how those roads get if there's ice storm. And decisions down for three days to no one knows how to drive one the the other thing is you know you look at the level of education of Georgia. And and you eat compare. The state of Georgia's education system to any of the New England states are you compare to Connecticut compared Georgia's education system to Massachusetts are. Or main server. I mean you get the New England has tends to have. A very well educated work force in Georgia has some great higher education institution in Georgia Tech is a very good school amber is a very good school but that note you say oh cases in two or three good was down there. Then all of a sudden you go. OK so we get Harvard MIT BC BU northeastern tops and like you go down the list I'm in five and I haven't even named a quarter of the good ones. Night at the idea. Like we're we're all sitting here with fingers crossed. But I think to be tremendous opportunity and teaching you had a source I had a source. Alchemy. I I don't know if it did this source that gave me this tip was different from the source that gave me the GE to. So I'll just leave it at that and but I think we're probably gonna learn something make my source indicated that we're gonna know within sixty days. I've fear effort make so nice it is stamp via. Op poll question Tucker and results I think do you reap what the poll out there to visited people have been suffering from market volatility I got a lot of questions over the weekend about the when's the roller coaster record and yes our poll question today at financial Accenture dot com is do you think the market correction is over. 60%. Barbara listeners are now saying no so that's up from last hour. Well that's good that's good that means we're managing expectations properly you know if if we if it continues in their thesis behind. Our our fueling that the market is gonna recede further is the median correction is about sixteen to 17%. That when you have a correction it's a route runs in that neighborhood. We only went down 10%. So that's the reason so far so far and that's why we are of the opinion and espousing the theory. That you could see if further market correction. These. Gentlemen are the most romantic cities in the United States. I saw the story this morning I figured that we might touch it and then. I just don't know the no let's do the least room okay let's let's do the least and in this you know a couple of these kind of makes sense number one on the list released romantic Indianapolis and that kind of fits Indianapolis doesn't strike me as a romantic place and you don't go there for love you go there. Joining us now on the line from Bankrate dot com is Robert Barbara here to talk about. Some of the financial apps that people are using on their Smartphones and Robert thanks for joining us. Roberts or how many consumers actually have. A financial app on their Smartphone. So our producers says 63%. Of all US adults who have a Smartphone have at least one. Financial app on their own and averages about two and a half. What is our financial. So I hear is thank you buy by Bank of America app for my leader bank gap on the phone is that financial. That's the financial that we looked at keep category ability you know you're full service traditional bank. We've looked at intact sort of budgeting naps one that you used to. Get a full scope of you were our money and tell you when you're spending too much we looked at investing apps you know robo advisors betterment like that the betterment. A classic example of that and we looked at payment apps. What did you see in terms of which ones people were using the most. That no Obama apps yet. Yep people you know look he says that they ending up in just we can kind of dig into the deep so in terms of like if you're using a large bank or small bank but the lord. Largest banks have invested. Billions of dollars into making sure that they have really really great financial laps early and they are continuing to build them out. Even if you look at it JD power association customer satisfaction desire to go up among the big banks and it's largely tied to their digital office. In terms of the other types of things what are budgeting apps how many people tend to use notes. All it's not as creative adoption there and it happens to spew a little bit younger which makes sense rate who were the people who need the most help in. In understanding their finances and making sure that their dollars are stretch properly. It's young folks it's it's also good commodities advocated. Great Recession and they want better insights and pictures that date. Don't screw it up you know all. When I first thought about it of the you know the kids of helicopter parents on helicopter banks but in reality they're just taking good steps make sure that they understand their money really well. Do most of these apps tend to skew younger in terms of who's using numbers in just an ad budget in case. Sure well. I think it is it is profound it's. It's a little tired and budgeting is a place that we saw a bit more on that and skew younger. Was the investment apps which I think has really profound long term effects right in terms and if you think about it. Thirty trillion dollars of wealth transfer that's gonna happen between baby boomers in millennial. Over the coming decades. When it comes time for an applicant wealth advisors who are in a turn to the person who charge them both he and they have very little money to invest or a bigger deterrent to their parents advisors. Interesting Robert we appreciate the time thanks for joining us. That is Robert Barbara from Bankrate dot com you know Lee. I like the banking apps and and I think there's a lot to be done at the investment. Apps. I've I've not embraced like a big screen for summaries and on the investment that because he can only put so these very limited information to look at under oath. I have a bunch of friends who use a lot of the row boats in and they've been pretty happy with them for the most part. I knows that some of the big institutions have updated their apps as well but they are quite as robust as they're coming from world legacy systems and and so it's it's somewhat of a mixed bag there. But that the fact is younger people they want to do just about everything on that phone possible right now it's it's that that trumps just about everything else. Movie pass has lowered its monthly subscription price to 795. So Tucker you can go to a movie in the every day so every day for eight bucks a month no and you get you get streaming offered through and Royce and no because I wouldn't pay that AGCO I'd received like three movies a year death I don't go to the theater if they they'd they'd make money on because I wouldn't use enough. And I go to maybe three of the things he years on spending like 60 box this evening at eight bucks a month cost me under this would be a great deal if you had you know two young kids three young kids and you wanted to you know take them every other weekend so you know let me use this law will be retirees. Week ago there were eight bucks a month that rates ought to do that you say honey it will go to movies once a week you go every day. Perry gave me think a thing about the weather like yesterday's whether it's all terrible awful yes. Area which you know what's the whole season on Netflix. Stage you've been asked the idea brain dead and a hay with this and Chris Johnson watched enough trucks you know. What revenge. What's up would you binge on goes through Omri watching mad men artery watching yeah Africa GS and go through that right now so I did like five episodes that. Paying off. New York City may settle Paul Pierce. In the New York City may soon charge motorists for driving into midtown Manhattan during rush hour. And here's why all major US cities should follow suit are read this article and this is I I looked at this is being innovative and and just something we never heard of before. He's been going on in Singapore since the 1970s. Yes Singapore's venues and a number of European cities have put in know what they call congestion pricing as well where they have variable pricing based on the time of day in the area that you're going to what would you think about that fur you know with her around New England you think about the major roads like 95. Is is a bad one. See you route 128 in the Boston area is a bad one leaving about congestion pricing so here so if you're driving. North on route 93. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon your pay a heavy told him to do. So here's the thing that I find so interest in before I'd answer your question I think I find so interesting about US transportation financing. Whatever comes to mass transit we always say when that project doesn't pay for its. Whatever comes to cars it doesn't matter that it doesn't paper it was the last time I wrote actually paid for itself. It doesn't that's not how it works transportation. Is not a it that the funding there is not a means to pay for that needs generate other economic activity that Dan pays for. Having said that. I think it makes sense because eight you look at what this does in terms of a forcing us to build more efficient cities and more efficient routes to get to places beat. It it dramatically hat it has huge impact on traffic right which reduces all that greenhouse gas emissions and smog that makes you choke and so forth. You are more likely to invest in public transportation yup right absolutely demanded of him. All right when we come back we're talking about batteries that's next from the financial exchange. They might already be receiving some kind of government benefits that 2%. And and people inherently feel that they have to just inherit their special needs child. Because of their fear of losing the government benefits when they get all this money. There's a global race to control batteries and China is winning we're talking about a substance. They used to be considered. Waste it was mining waste when your mining nickel. You would run into this mineral called cobalt. In you have to throat where you have to dispose of track in the around the world there are mountains of cobalt that had been accumulated over the years in China. Now he's dominating the world market global. Yet they're dominating largely because they control a few major supply route from mom the Congo actually and in the Congo. In exported rather. One point two billion dollars. Of cobalt into China in the first two months of 27 team down the next closest exporter and China for cobalt. Which India 3.2 million are not even close he just happens that there's a lot of cobalt. In Congo. Yeah Andy and China has really developed some pretty big inroads there at this point. Is this a tipping signed it Louis where we're getting an idea that. You know China is going all electric on their vehicles and they are the one thing to remember you might. Discount China but China is the largest automobile market in the world terms of new Carson. Yeah they're they're not necessarily go all electric but there may get a huge priority more so than we are in the United States. The one thing the potentially turns this is the reason that electric vehicles require cobol right now. Is in order to produce the lithium ion batteries that power them today if the battery technology changes and you don't necessarily have the same demand there so. It very much is based on where the technology is today if down the rodeo different batteries or something else. They could look different at that point and and and I think the battery tech. It's a year and a half to two years away from change I think you are getting close on it we don't need the cobol. Citing fraud LL bean imposes limits on its return policy or south historian Friday. And we talked about this in the past where he can buy these boots from LB in albeit they're expensive how much repair those boots hundred bucks 130 to Tucker has more on the ball partly out. And for years they had or. Policy where you could return them dip no questions asked if they wore out you can return them and get a new pair. And what they found was that they were getting this huge number of Bob boots or other items that had been you know bought at thrift stores for ten dollars and the return a brand new ones. And so they pretty much said look we're going to a one year limit on these returns might might counterpoint will be looked. They're probably a lot of people who responsibly we're doing this yeah. Why not just require an original receipt like if you really want to keep a return if you really wanna have the ability to return for the next ten years ago. Keep in a regional receipt. It's a high demand product they didn't add another shift in order to get as that's I think in the last three years they've gone for making a 100000 year either 50750000. May make him in the US to make in the media in Maine they're they became very fashionable like everyone cool wears these now. I'm kind of bombed out the present but slippers like a year and a half goes up and what from start to rip a little bit. And I was banking on the lifetime guaranteed to now I am out of block this now so now. The way ghost pay. The phone number one last time is 855622. 3634. Immigration. To get free Wheeling debate in the senate. Our fair I asked chuck SA do you think we're gonna get an immigration deal done and I think your your your attitude is no I. I say no and I think the big reason is I think a lot of Republicans feel old largely betrayed on budget issues from it you know obviously. You take a look at a lot of the freedom caucus in the house who voted against the recent budget. And I think it is going to be. A very very. It's what about the labor shortages you know if you're Republican. And yet you might feel betrayed based on the budget deal. But they knew you're Republican from Arkansas Clinton and wal mart's screened that because they can't find it the higher. Then my response beat him more. EU want es still need that wal mart's support you need you know the let's face it. We've got the best congress money can buy rate so always have. EZ UEQ do you could say that the pain you're gonna lose your support among war. What a word and assert it all our every gigabyte all the liberal Republican politician you're not losing support of Wal-Mart because use passed a huge tax cut for like it's easy there's. What are they gonna do a Dunkin' Donuts here's a guy we we analyze us they're came donuts lobby. But here's the thing Dunkin' Donuts franchise owners are saying they can only hire 60% of the workers that they. Need and and their pay and use you've seen it EU EU bloc in Tucker what do they pay in at Starbucks now for EDC wages in the window from its non windows from what I've read it's like starts at fifteen bucks. Made via the money's there. That's not a bad wage for an unskilled worker. All I'm saying is if if I just I I have. Absolutely. Z I I give this pretty much easier percent chance pap aren't. I just I just this is like trying to note thread a needle that has no holes there's no I like. I I vote Democrat sporting what what what happens and you get both sides on board has anything that you can get through the senate. Can't get through the house and the get through the house can't get through this you know. That's the problem that you run into equity and if he had a lot of Democrats on board and you think it's gonna get through the present them. I mean like now here's the thing you've got three completely different views on these things. I just don't see a whole lot I mean unless you do something like you do at the present deal for the president or something like the budget deal where you say. Fine instead of giving no one anything we're just gonna give everyone everything they want. OK maybe get to happen you know it. No Republicans took a lot of it's a lot of heat from their constituency base on this book deal I mean there's a lot and again I. We can shrug it off but it it. Some point votes matter now mostly missing. AZ the debt what is it march 3 as the deadline. Yeah I believe it's next Friday or maybe somewhere in under par after two Fridays from now somewhere in the double yeah two Fridays from now. So other story about Amazon getting into the delivery business and the first thing that came across my mind news. I wouldn't wanna be UPS or FedEx right now in Amazon getting into their business thirty in their business. But to a much greater degree they're basically. Going to offer and is on. It didn't try to compete with UPS from what I can. Think the question that I have on all of this of what what they're trying to do is they're starting up a service called ship with Amazon where. Amazon couriers would pick products up from businesses and take them to Amazon warehouses so that it cuts out the middleman you don't have FedEx or UPS being required to ship them to warehouses to begin with us. Here's what I worry about from from the perspective ams on maybe they're big enough that it doesn't matter at this point. The partnerships they built with FedEx and UPS where significant like and what if I'm UPS aren't I gonna say wanted to race moderates will it in beyond that. If Amazon comes to mean the future and says hey we've got this great idea for product partner with us my responsibly. How do I know you're knocking it just turn on me the second your big enough to do it yourself your competitor like I if if if I am a company. I am refusing to work with Amazon in the future I'm worried about the eating my lunch and so. Amazon's at the point now where they're big and often they're good enough that you that fear has to be real from any company even if they say we want to work with you learn this just tells you that tells me. They wanna work with you until we can figure out how to do it on the role. Say it's a tough industry to break into EDU logistics industry in terms of competing with a company like UPS like you know you look at a company like UPS and you see the brown trucks and he sees demand run around. Is technology company you look at the Texan all in his own Ameen ya. And it was the that the thing with Amazon is they have billions of dollars now and cash flow from AW that. They're just take all this EWS cashed in just throwing it at wood just on the differences. The Amazon's stock holder doesn't care that much about profits the Amazon's stock holder will not looking for dividend but that FedEx stockholder. Is it they're looking for dividends they're looking for profits since it was UPS stockholder rate you all of a sudden that dividend goes to zero you're not going to be too happy with the stock. No pain and in so you know Amazon as you say they they can do things that these other companies can't and they can raise equity look at the valuation with their multiple on the stock and looked out of it exerts its through the roof I mean I think it's somewhere in the ballpark yet 223 times earnings right so they can. They could say while T we wanna compete with UPS three's forty billion dollars would just issued new stock. And you know with with Amazon you say a cable he does deserve to be trading act quickly. How many companies do you know that are doing a 180 billion and revenue and are still growing 35%. A year that's the party and like remarks and made that growth is going to be even more now with the growth trees is that that the groceries firm a low margin business. But during your house once they start delivering those are free they are in your house to three times a week it's making it's they just can. Tina you mean did you say okay it's been a profitable. There's always trading like four times sales which for a company that big in that rapidly growing in this room of unlikely that that's the thing it's it's it's not crazy you wonder when they hit the wall you know companies always do these growth companies at some point. They slowdown but the and that's how big the US economy Amazon's growth seems to be excel or how big the US economy twenty trillion dollars on net and at the wall. Checked is there's a twenty trillion dollar now on how big Amazon can get are you still think there's any sort of chance that ams on just turns around and buys UPS I do. Yeah I mean I thought this news Adam's kind of interest and I do nobody is Amazon now 900 Amazon is 666. Billion dollars right now UPS's a hundred billion UPS I think is not mean the guy knows FedEx with Zimmer effects of the is like 75. Then again haven't I had the I think she's 63 up at the new exams kind of a subtle threat towards UPS and I was nothing subtle about that the thing I think to settles I hammered the formula roller it's more common Korea now when if they approach from about buying them. I mean I in my in my mailman all the time. They say that yeah especially during the holiday season. They were getting a truckload a day of Amazon packages delivered is no one else to keep up the wait till next year now all. They VW's coming out of the new car. Yeah apparently that's tech sharp knowing you're talked to Tim Stevens from the CNET roadshow a new vehicle being released. By Volkswagen that's next from the financial exchange. Tim first of all in the in a world where everyone's buying suvs a little unusual to see in the end you see a new sedan announced top. It got played associate premiums that would sort talked many of the the new Volkswagen arcana it will kind of be the halo car for Volkswagen now the most expensive car they'll be the tour I guess UV. We will be far from where they're most luxurious sedan even to the point will be competing with some Audi. So what exactly is what what what stands out about this Carty. Personal bit styling of this is that aspect to dance so we've got kind of a group styling to become very large comparable luxury sedan and looks fantastic I think you could simply go to a more forward. Progression and the talent we've seen before a little bit like but but much much nicer looking. Overall got a lot on my safety feature that'll be built in standard as well and like automatic emergency braking. For collision alert to that will be totally standard on this car there will be more things like a departure it's been a battle optional. The UW is really building a lot early on the based car which is pretty encouraged. Now Volkswagen is traditionally in the US that kind of made their money. On there you know very basic simple cars that can get you where your goal in the Jeddah the the golf the facade. Nothing really stands out here. In this car you've got kind of a whole different mind set so how how do they plan on brought bringing this to the American public. If blood is going to be a bit of different car from them it is successor to Volkswagen PC which was in the similar vein but this takes it another step forward even more toward the premiums and out of things. Again really started to go head to head with some of the bowl level saudis so it'll be continuously held Volkswagen markets this car I don't think this will be a car there expecting to sell a lot of but I think it is the cause they're gonna be wanting to put something of land around. The cabinet you wanna come and check out even the camp for the one and maybe it'll sit down to the spot or two Genentech at things that the idea be able car. Bring people that you should see this really impressive thing and you account for the Buick Open with a lower. Do you see this is potentially being somewhere to what Hyundai did would the the Genesis over the last ten years. I think in terms of this carving a standalone they could be but ultimately they've already got Audi at that little vote. Four or two and a hypocrite like Genesis in Portland would really work for them and keep everything friendly was in the fail. So what's. In in terms of what the other price point and we're at where they expect in the price this is gonna be 50000 dollars eighty a hundred with any idea. They haven't given it formal price in the car just made its US debut at the Chicago show last week could be just the card can replace him with the PC that's started route 35000 dollar. I would expect it to be closer to about 40000 north when it comes up for the base to be a tutor to which our problem drive car. But you don't get all wheel drive and a lot of premium packages that could put this will open it. So this I guess if you're trying to compared to a vehicle they might be almost more like a Toyota Avalon or something like that the moving into Alexis. I I think so definitely ended it awfully well overlap to some degree with the Audi a four and even crossing into the Audi a six and someone is too so it's going to be a little bit of hard card the difficult Carter played to the competition eat the something different books like. Very good Tim thanks to the time is always. Government Tim Stephens from CNET Roche are talking about the 2019. BWR tail and good looking car looks good they're trying to get past there emissions problem you see the yeah they didn't they haven't said if they're gonna have a diesel or not no I'm guessing not current I would I would Mets are doing movement heavily towards batteries. Volkswagen you know hey I know they are trying to I I I don't know enough about what their what they're doing on that for right now they've. They do and their Chinese offerings they're going heavy after the got to be at 8% what two years now I think they accelerated. In China as it goes next year announced a percent at him in China's all the way you look at the air quality issues in China. Therefore the people are dying day for you you can go for run outside you know you're better off on a treadmill it is not just China you go to Seoul South Korea. In another city just horrendous air quality. In a market is open and son of a gun at the Dallas and up 335. Points is very shocked and Tucker. Signing off from the financial exchange rate units.
